Use this checklist before connecting a wallet, approving a token, or depositing funds. A high score does not make a protocol safe, and a low score does not prove that it is unsafe.

Official documentation is available.
The protocol explains its contracts, supported networks, risks and operating model. Contract addresses are verifiable.
Addresses are linked from official channels and match the intended network. Permissions are understandable.
Token approvals and administrative privileges are visible and reviewable. Liquidity and exit conditions are clear.
You understand liquidity depth, withdrawal rules, lockups and possible delays. Independent review exists.
Look for credible audits, public issue tracking and a history of transparent fixes. Team and governance risks are known.
Admin keys, upgradeability, multisigs and governance concentration are understood. You have a loss limit and exit plan.
The amount at risk is limited and you know what would make you exit.

How to read the result

0-3: gather more evidence before interacting.
4-7: unresolved risk remains; reduce exposure and verify primary sources.
8-10: the basic review is stronger, but smart-contract and market risks remain.
